Find answers to common questions about my Italian courses, pricing,
and policies
What happens if I miss a class?
Each group is permitted one makeup class during the course cycle.
Any additional absences, particularly those not communicated
beforehand, will be considered lost. I recommend letting me know
as soon as possible if you can't attend a lesson.
Can I take a break between cycles?
Absolutely! You can take a break between course cycles. Just
inform me ahead of time so I can plan accordingly. When you're
ready to continue, you can join the next available cycle at your
level.
Can I switch to a one-on-one session?
Yes! Feel free to inquire about availability for private lessons.
I offer one-on-one sessions at €300 per cycle for 2 classes per
week (1 hour each), which provides more flexibility with
scheduling and completely personalized learning goals with faster
progress.
Is there an option for a trial lesson?
Yes, trial lessons are occasionally available at a cost of €40.
This is a great way to experience my teaching method and see if
it's the right fit for you before committing to a full course
cycle. Contact me to check availability.
How much does a course cost?
Group courses cost €200 per month for 1 class per week (1 hour
each). Private lessons cost €300 per cycle for 2 classes per week
(1 hour each), offering more flexibility and faster progress.
Group scheduling is flexible based on availability discussed
during meet up. All prices include WhatsApp group support, PDF
materials, homework, and feedback. There's no registration fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept payment via bank transfer, iDEAL, and IBAN. All prices
include VAT. You pay before each cycle begins, and there are no
registration fees or hidden costs.
What level should I start at?
I offer courses from A1 to B2 levels. I start classes from A1
level with students who have a bit of knowledge of Italian. If
you're not sure about your level, we can discuss it during our
initial contact. I'll help you determine the best starting point
based on your current knowledge and goals.
How many students are in each group?
I keep groups small with a maximum of 6 students per group. This
ensures everyone gets personalized attention and plenty of
opportunities to practice speaking during each lesson.
What technical requirements do I need?
You'll need a stable internet connection, a computer or tablet
with a camera and microphone, and access to Google Meet. I also
recommend having WhatsApp for our group communication. That's all
you need to join from anywhere in the world!
What time zones do you accommodate?
I work Monday-Friday, 08:00-19:00 CET, and accommodate students
worldwide within these hours. Group classes have flexible
scheduling based on group availability (discussed during meet up),
while private lessons offer even more flexibility. Contact me to
find the best time for your location.
What makes your teaching method different?
I use the inductive approach (natural acquisition), which means
you experience the language first through real conversations,
videos, and authentic materials - then we clarify structure when
needed. This mirrors how children learn their first language and
is much more effective than traditional "grammar-first" methods.
My style is warm, personal, and focused on real human connection.
What support do I get between lessons?
Every course includes access to our WhatsApp group where you can
ask questions, practice with classmates, and get support between
lessons. You'll also receive comprehensive PDF materials for each
lesson, plus optional homework with personalized feedback.
